Q  : What goals have you set for yourself in the 2016 Olympic Season ?

A :  I have three main goals this year; make the US Olympic team, then bring home the Gold medal, and finish the season the best in the world. In the beginning of fall training, I told myself I will no longer doubt my God given ability. Unfortunately, I missed the 2008 and 2012 Olympic teams, but eight years later, I'm seasoned and more confident.

Q :
In the past a lot of critics have said you tend to peak too early in the season, do you agree with this ? and what steps have you put into place to make this season better than 2015 ?

A:
I view those shortcomings as lessons. Though my timing was a bit off in 2015, I met with my agent to create a schedule conducive to peaking at US trials and then an international championship. Last year, I raced too much. This Olympic year, I will choose races that will benefit my overall season

Q : We saw your film on YouTube ''Charlie'' and was very impressed !! any future plans for more films ? and what are you currently binge watching on TV ?

A :
Thanks for watching my work! That means a lot. I wrote the script at world championships last year and filmed it later that fall. We shot it in 3 days with only 5 hours of sleep.
As of now, I've been analyzing the film festival circuit and Hollywood trends to see what theme I'm going to base my next story on. Zombies are the coolest thing, so of course, I'm thinking of filming another zombie flick. Let's step things up a notch; The Nat Turner rebellion plus zombies, anyone? Right now, I've been binge watching The Walking Dead on AMC. The show delivers the perfect balance of character development and hardcore zombie action.

Q :
Previously signed to Nike, a lot of people were shocked last year when you didn't have a sponsor, has things changed/has the interest grown ?

A :
There are a few interests, but honestly, I've been focused on training. As of now, I'm still a free agent, so I'll continue to decorate my race spikes until that time comes. This year, many people ask me what does the "89" mean on the back of my uniform. It's the year I was born. Soon, I plan on partnering with a company that values me as an athlete. I desire a collaboration. The 400 hurdle race is depicted as one of the most challenging events in track and field, but our event tends to be underrated. I want to bring our event to the forefront again. I train with the sprinters and the milers. Quarter hurdlers train extremely hard and I hope there's a company that's ready to embrace that.

Q :
Finally if you were stuck on an island with three people in your life who would you want it to be and why ?

A :
Put me on an island with director Quentin Tarantino, writer Shonda Rhimes, and actress Danai Gurira. We could make a kick ass "Cast Away" type movie.  Can we throw some zombies on the island too?
