Q:  What goals have you set for yourself in 2016 when it comes to the 400m and do you believe doing more 200's/gaining speed endurance is the key to a faster 400m as made evidence by Merritt,Van Niekerk and James all medalist in Beijing and all sub 20 capable sprinters ?

A :   My goals for 2016 is to make the Olympic team this summer. I don't really care how fast I run I'm not aiming for time just aiming to make the team. I'll say it's my only goal thus far and my only focus for now. But of course making the Olympic final and earning a medal in the open 400m event. Everything I'm doing is leading up to U.S Olympic trials to persuade that goal and once I achieve that goal of making the team then I can start initiating the other plans I have for 2016. Every 400m runner is different some are similar because you have those speed 400m runners like a Merritt or van niekerk who can run sub 20 and you have the strength 400m runners as well. But I do believe you have some type of speed endurance to compete and be in a field with those guys. You have be able to come around that first 200 at about 21 low or possible 20 point high comfortably depending on what type of race you in.

Q :
You competed for both South Plains and LSU, explain to us the difference in both experiences and where do u believe you grew more as an athlete ?

A :
Well my experience with south plains that everything I was doing was totally new. I started track my Jr. Year in high school and I never had any type of base training like that ever so everything was new. I actually told the coach when I got there that I wanted to be a 400mh and he said no he believed I have great potential to be a great 400m runner. But I would say his program built me up and when I went to LSU a kinda similar program to some of the stuff I was doing I just adapted pretty well. I grew more as athlete at LSU because that's where I currently at and continuing to learn the sport and as a 400m runner. But I think if even south plains was a 4 year school I believe I prolly would of had same success because coach Wiley is a great coach.

Q :
Shag, Marry , Ignore -  Shamier Little, Natasha Hastings, Queen Harrison ?

A :
Ignore shamier little ahaha, shag Natasha, marry Queen.

Q :
Tell us 3 things you can't go to a track meet without , 3 essential things you need ?

A :
My phone, headphones, and any type of snack because I need to like eat a small snack before I warm up.

Q :
What are you thoughts on Russia being banned from the Olympics. do you think it's fair to ban clean athletes because of the dirty athletes discretion in Russia . Also how would u feel as an athlete if your entire country was banned but you were one of the clean athletes. In other words if the shoe was on the other foot would you think it's fair ?

A :
My thoughts on the Russia banning the clean athletes that it's not fair in my opinion because those clean athletes are representing their country the right way and it sucks to see something like that because it makes the country as a whole very shameful. If I were in the shoes of those Russia as an clean athlete I would be feeling the same way they feel not being able represent your country and doing some you enjoy to do would hurt my heart as a person and athlete. Sorry to see that happen but life is fair and God witness all so I can't be the one to judge someone on why they did this or that.
